The Doll Federation is here for all doll lovers - be they makers or collectors. We are committed to helping in any way possible, making your hobby as enjoyable as you first wished it would be. We are here to promote and broaden understanding in the field by sharing our interests, skills, knowledge and ideas.
Over the 15 years we have been in operation, we have achieved great success with our Gold Seal of Excellence and our Teacher Training Seminars set up to raise the standards of dollmaking. 
When the N.Z.D.F. was first established, many dollmakers were concentrating on reproduction porcelain dolls both antique and modern and these continue to be popular. Since those early days we have seen outstanding work produced and it continues to be so. Alongside the reproduction artists came a highly talented group of original doll artists who gave us magical one-of-a-kind dolls. Many of these artists are now internationally recognised and we are proud to have some of them as Members of our Federation.
